Prevention Services

The Agency does not receive significant funding for prevention services. However, DOCFS believes it is necessary to work with families to prevent the apprehension of children and promote the family unit.

Culturally appropriate resources

There are projects that are occurring in the individual offices that address family disruption. As well, referrals are made to other culturally appropriate resources to assist families.
